easyTithe Rebrand and Website Redesign

As an in-house Design Lead at Ministry Brands I have worked on many large SAAS company re-brands and redesigns, but easyTithe’s rebrand and redesign was by far the largest and most interesting.

I began by analyzing user data to come to the conclusion that the previous easyTithe branding was off-base and needed major adjustment. After shifting the branding to a softer more church-focused color scheme, and putting the site’s focus on the visitor’s needs first, we began wireframing.

We moved some pages around and trimmed the fat off the site to make it leaner and improve the overall marketing funnel in the wireframe phase. After wireframing I went in and applied the overall aesthetic to the site, creating illustrations and adjusting final content with our content writers.

I think the new site speaks for itself. It’s more welcoming, built to function as an industry leading knowledge base, and more in tune with the company’s actual demographic.

 
 

 
 

Team Caricatures

I was hired to create a series of caricatures by my team lead. They were intended to be head-shots for avatars at and outside of work, with the backgrounds representing the person’s skill-set. They eventually ended up being stickers to be gifted to the team.

 
 

 
 

Seasonal Marketing Campaigns

I have experience managing the creative for up to six large seasonal campaigns a year for two brands at a time. Sometimes even producing collateral for smaller brands to run along-side the larger ones. This collateral might include landing pages, ebooks, social/print ads, one-page handouts, brochures, webinar slide-decks, and even video editing at times.

Kindrid Marketing Pages

WEB/UI - UX

Part of my role at Ministry Brands was to maintain the design of Kindrid, one of our two largest giving brands. This included designing campaign-driven take-overs of the hero module on the home page, updating the sign-up page and sometimes temporary banners. Having these planned seasonal campaigns allowed me to create templates and processes to make the overall process quicker and easier on our front-end developers.
