A decade ago, like many other folks, I picked up my first tabletop roleplaying (TTRPG) game. Also like many others it was Dungeons & Dragons. Ever since that first time seeing the connections that were forged around a table telling stories with friends and strangers, I’ve been hooked. I became fascinated with game design, story telling, and the very real relationships that can be forged through the artistic medium. I tinkered, wrote, drew, and designed.

Hearing how others were able to use and enjoy the games and supplements I create is a great joy. Below are my currently released and in-development books. This site is meant to be a place for case studies on the TTRPGs I work on and explore my design process a bit.

Pilgrim’s Passages

A new free game about travel, what travelers carry with them, and the people those travelers meet in the aftermath of multiple apocalypses. It includes processes for generating the wilderness, places, and people you meet on your travels. Rules for incorporating diegetic changes to characters, simulating the wear and tear of the road on your equipment and your character, and rules for creating crafts.

Pilgrim’s Passages is currently in-development and in open beta testing. If you would like to experience the game for yourself, check out the links below.

A Rasp of Sand

A mighty ocean spirit's grief and anger have hung over your village for generations. Every twenty-five years your village sends one of its young to the island temple to die as a sacrifice. This generation is the first time the village has decided to send down multiple heirs as a sacrifice, with the hope that returning the Crown will help atone for your ancestor's sins. You will most assuredly fail this time, but you will learn. You will pass these memories onto your Heir, and give them a better chance. A small chance, but if you rub enough small grains of sand against a boulder eventually that boulder will crumble.

A Rasp of Sand is a rogue-lite adventure built on the skeleton of Knave. A Rasp of Sand is not a stand-alone product, you will need Knave or a similar system to run it.

Intended for 3-5 players and a GM.
